St. Paul’s Healing Garden will be a calm and serene open garden allowing people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a variety of activities for interacting, learning, meditating and reflecting. St. Paul’s has an empty lot on the corner of McKinley and Garfield that we are beginning to transform into a healing garden. This healing garden will become a place where the community can come to enjoy natural beauty and art, learn about pollinators and producing food for our neighbors, play music and walk a calming labyrinth. We seek to nourish the body with nutritious fruits and vegetables and feed the soul with music, meditation, prayer, and beauty. We plan to provide educational and arts programs to the community. These programs will be about pollinators, butterflies, natural crafts, bug houses, and musical programs.
A new phase of the garden has started this summer. We have placed are recycled benches for people to sit on out in the garden. We also built and planted raised beds. These beds are filled with vegetables and herbs. The produce will be given to the Hinckley Area Food Pantry families.

We are adding to our healing garden with a labyrinth. This will be a space where you can walk and pray.
